If we look around in our homes, we have plenty stuff we hardly need

Yet when someone on the street approaches, we do not pay any heed

Sometimes you can just buy for the sake of buying, even if you dont require

It might help some self respecting person to fulfill a small tiny desire

These people are better than those who start to beg and dont have hope

It requires a will of steel to undergo what life offers them, they only can cope

Even if you consider it as an indirect charity or donation, just purchase

It might just help to slightly straighten someone’s life’s zigzag maze

I have seen people in their youth, who just beg for drugs and fun

At the same time there are those who would earn their butter and bun

Remember the law of karma, if you selflessly do some good deed

You dont even know how big is the tree, from that unknown seed

The day when the seed will sprout, it will lead to the most pious way
