In the east we have golden traditions to respect our parents for they always care

Even when grown up, you cannot disrespect them, you cant even just dare

It is only in the west where in the name of independence, they really dont bother

It is only the so called modern people, who say that the elder make them smother

For years of experience and the ageless wisdom needs certainly the respect due

But unfortunately these days, people who do so are very far in between and few

If you respect your parents, the blessings will make you rise high in life

Just remember never to ignore them, for they were their in every strife

In the Orient, we have a tradition to touch the feet and that always does work

It is only these days, that kids feel shy and to do so, they try to shirk

We need to teach the moral lessons to the young ones, we must follow it too

Else the civilization will just turn to the rakshas yuga, will disappear out of the blue
